DA.FM is an innovative app that transforms genetic data into unique sound experiences, reflecting on genetic variability and how it is minimally diverse.
Inspired by the expedition of Fernão de Magalhães, the app uses genetic profiles of 15 real individuals from 5 different geographical points. This project was funded by FCT, Republic of Portugal, and carried out in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health of the University of Porto. It is available on iOS and Android for both phones and tablets.
